Maderas
Playa Maderas is one of the most consistent beach breaks in the world. It's a magnet for swell and the offshore winds keep it breaking year round. Maderas is a great spot for beginners and experts alike, and the local beach bar Tres Hermanos provides shade, great local food and keeps the drinks flowing.
|
Remanso
Playa Remanso, a couple miles south of town, is an idyllic beach break. With the cove providing some swell protection, it's a great spot for beginners and a ton of fun for more experienced surfers when the swell is too big at other spots. With a couple bar restaurants on the shore, it's a great spot to spend the day for multiple sessions.

Hermosa
Playa Hermosa is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, bar none. It's beautiful white sand stretches for miles and the local ecolodge provides visitors with shady cabanas and hammocks for lounging. The beach break serves up consistent A frames and you'll often find yourself as the only one surfing a peak.
